The Boston Red Sox announced yesterday that they signed both Hanley Ramirez and Pablo Sandoval. With the acquisition of Hanley, and the expressed interest of the team to move him to left field, Yoenis Cespedes seems in need of a new position. Really? Move the guy with 31 outfield assists in just 3 seasons? Though neither player has impressive Defensive WAR numbers, I would certainly vote for having a natural outfielder patrolling the grounds in front of the Green Monster, rather than a converted infielder.
